We also provide vehicle rental and operate a non-stop towing service with reach across Europe. We are not limited by vehicle brand or type. We see the car service as a "vehicle hospital" where technical condition, safety and reliability are addressed down to the last detail.
We also specialise in vehicle bodies and conversions, which we always adapt to the specific needs of our clients. Thanks to many years of experience in craft production and service, we can look at vehicles comprehensively and design smart, functional solutions. We are also expanding our craft services beyond the automotive sector. The quality of work of our joiners and locksmiths thus finds application also in the realisation and modification of any interiors. The result is tailor-made solutions combining functionality, precise workmanship and long service life.
The beginnings of our company date back to 1991, when we started repairing passenger vehicles in a two-car garage of a panel apartment building. After the family property — real estate in Kolčavka — was restituted, we carried out an extensive renovation of the entire building.
Since April 1992, "Kolčavka" has been the home of our authorised service, which has since been part of the pan-European Bosch network. According to Robert Bosch evaluations, we have long been among the best Bosch Car Services. The company is working intensively to expand its services into all areas of vehicle repair with the goal of becoming a comprehensive "car hospital".

Given the expanding activities of the JÍŠA business, a new legal entity JÍŠA s.r.o. was established in 2002. The new company took over all activities of the previous sole trader business, which in the same year was also expanded with the JÍŠA make car vehicle conversion centre.
In April 2005 the company JÍŠA rent - car s.r.o. was established. As the name suggests, the core of its services is vehicle rental with complete service, both short-term and long-term. It should be added that the company was founded based on repeated requests from our satisfied customers.
Over time the pressure on our capacity grew, and so it became necessary to expand the existing building. In December 2005 our company bought the neighbouring building and construction work began shortly after. We started using the new premises almost immediately even during the conversion, so operations were not interrupted. The renovation took place in stages and everything had to be carefully coordinated.
In 2008 the key cooperation between JÍŠA rent - car s.r.o. and UNILEASING a.s. began. All vehicles in the JÍŠA rent - car s.r.o. fleet have therefore been financed exclusively through UNILEASING a.s. since 2008. In the same year, the founder and managing director of both companies, Josef Jíša, became vice president of SAČR for independent car services.

A major event of 2010 was winning first place in the international quality test conducted by BOSCH. In 2012 JÍŠA s.r.o. placed second in the same test.
Due to the continuing development of electric vehicles, both sister companies began to take an intense interest in electromobility from 2011. The JÍŠA electromobility centre was created, managing its own e-fleet of electric cars and motorcycles. JÍŠA s.r.o. staff were therefore trained in the repair of electric vehicles.
The JÍŠA make car vehicle conversions and crafts division expanded its activities, according to the needs of its customers, beyond road vehicles. For this reason it was given the more fitting name JÍŠA industries.
In 2015 we defended first place in the international quality test conducted by BOSCH.
Due to the increasing number of vehicle repairs after traffic accidents, the use of subcontractors no longer made sense. At the same time an opportunity arose to rent the premises of the Na Košince paint shop. We completely renovated these premises and built new paint shop and bodyshop facilities.
The growing volume of contracts together with the expanding city centre led us to prepare the company for a move to a new location. For this purpose a new legal entity, JÍŠA ESTATES s.r.o., was established.
In 2020 we succeeded in purchasing a brownfield plot in the former PAL Kbely area.
We again defended first place in the international quality test conducted by BOSCH.
After the forced Covid pause, construction of the new company headquarters began.
After 14 months of construction, the new hall was approved and preparations for the move to the new location began.
2026 marks a new beginning for the company in a completely new and significantly larger building, designed and adapted to the needs of the services provided and production processes — all under one roof.
Currently, ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications are an integral part of every company that deals with the quality of products, services and processes, as well as the impact of its activities on the environment. JÍŠA s.r.o. holds both of these certifications. The quality of the certification process is ensured by TÜV NORD CERT GmbH, which provides certification for JÍŠA s.r.o.
Focuses on the quality management system – a high level of production process, quality of services and products provided to customers, cost optimisation, increased performance of the entire organisation, flexible response to changes in market demands, individual customers, legislative requirements and changes within the organisation, etc.
Deals with the environmental management system – managing the impact of company activities on the environment – reducing future costs associated with planning production infrastructure, identifying problems and preventing accidents, saving energy and material resources and more.
